drilling through painted fender???
I'm putting fender emblems back on my blazer and I need to drill holes. I'm pretty sure that I should drill though some kind of tape to prevent chipping, but I'm not sure what kind. Should I use the blue 3m low tack tape?

Yup just use the blue or green painters tape and be gentle

and then dab some paint in the hole on the bare metal
