good deal?

1985 4x4 1/2 ton chev long bed

good
6 lift 35 toyo m/t's
really tight 350
new paint no rust
4wheel drive works perfect

bad
was stolen needs new ignition/door locks
window motors are dying
lock switches only work when they want
speedometer dont work (cable?)

all for $2400

Bad isn't as expensive as is good, if you can do them yourself. If there's no cancer, sounds like a good deal.

ya there is no cancer at all. it comes with new wires and radiator hoses. the only thing i am kinda ify on is doing the ignition by myself. is it very hard?

It depends on what they did to it. Did they bust up the hole column or just the switch? If it’s just a switch it sucks but it’s not that bad, if they busted up the column make sure you check all the gears and springs out. At least that’s the case on later GM trucks (I used to repo, we busted up the column it was faster).

Being stolen I would say they did everthing as fast as they could. Do they care if they damage anything? I do not think so. What ever you decide, hope it works in your favor.

should take about an hour to replace the lock cly in the column and both door lock cyls.. IF YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TOOLS! And be under 100 bux worth of parts.. EASY fix.. If it needs a new column plan to spend $100 or more for a used one and about another hour to replace that..
