New Project (well a bunch of parts, to eventually put together) Pics Inside

So A few months ago I bought a '53ish Chevy Cab, Nose, Doors and chassis. Well come to find out the chassis was actually '55-'59 SWB and not the correct AD chassis. I was semi-looking for an AD chassis to throw under it and sell the 55-59. I was looking through the local want ads and saw an ad for a '55-'59 BBW/Doors and some other parts. I went to go look at the stuff and made an offer. A few weeks later, the guy called and said I could have the stuff for $x and I agreed.

Anyway I got a '59 BBW Cab, 2 Passenger Doors, 1 Driver Door, A '58-'59 Grille and Grille panel, Radiator support, the filler that goes behind the bumper I believe, a super clean gas tank, a '58-'59 Hood and some other misc stuff. oh yeah and a gauge cluster that is in pretty good shape.

Looks like I'm selling the '53 Cab and nose now

Not to bad on the rust: the floor and floor/rocker supports are solid and all there! It needs: rockers and the lower door hinge area work that most of these trucks seem to need (even the west coasters. There are some rust issues on the back of the cab on the upper window area. It probably would scare most people, but if I can't get pieces from a doner cab, I know that I can make new peices for it (just time consuming). The dash is hacked, but I see that there is a patch panel available for that. The roof looks good - noone seems to have danced on it.

Eventually I want to turn this in the the Extended Cab pictured below, but with a '57 Chevy Nose (maybe) and a regular Apache Fleetside bed not the Cameo.

-Andy

Cool. Looks like a nice start to a project. I love the extended cab pick up.
