Question 6 lug 70 LB

Getting ready to do some work on my old 70 Chev C/10 2WD..LB....6 lug wheels. I want to drop the truck with one of the popular, complete kits available. I notice the front/drop/disc conversion can be had in 5 lug or 6 lug. If I went to 5 lugs can the rear axles be swapped with 5 luggers? I was concerned about wheel choices in the future..oooooorrrr....should I stick with the current 6 lug setup. Is one more desireable than the other?..thanks...Steve

Talking Re: 6 lug 70 LB

IF you go to 5 hole you can get new axle shafts but I have also found a kit to allow you to convert to disc with 6 lug its from chevyduty.com it comes in stock height and 2.5 drop. it comes with everything you need minus booster, master and prop valve.
