These wheels and center caps for my truck
I am thinking about it. Depending on which color I paint the truck.

Re: These wheels and center caps for my truck
Those are the same style wheels/caps I went with, but in 16". I'm still debating beauty rings though.
Just be carefull with wheel vintiques if you go with them, one of my wheels was out of round... I found this out after the tire was already mounted. They (Summit Racing) promptly sent me a new wheel and paid for the demounting of the tire and the shipping labels to send the bent wheel back. That was after going through the ranks of the customer service staff, but all is good now. |

Re: These wheels and center caps for my truck
Body color for the non-chrome bits would be amazing.

Re: These wheels and center caps for my truck
Go for it! I prefer the rally's in Argent Silver rather than body color on non-chrome rallys. We are running these on my woman's '65..she purchased them from fellow member "2ndGenRR". They're on the rolling chassis already. Bada$$!

Re: These wheels and center caps for my truck
Well, like I mentioned before, I'd find someone other than Wheel Vintiques. Or at least don't get any from them that are powdercoated. I can't think of any off the top of my head, but I do remember a thread on the HAMB that mentioned a few alternative companies to wheel vintiques.
A year later, and I see signs of rust in the seam. |
