Blazer Car Cover
What are you guys using for car covers?? Brand, etc. Mine is topless, but thought some you guys that don't even own a top use one.
I know California Car Covers makes custom ones, but being topless it may not fit.

Re: Blazer Car Cover
i'm curious too... it would be SO much easier to throw a cover on instead of the top.

Re: Blazer Car Cover
I'm using the garage.
Prior to that, I just would put the soft top up every night.

Re: Blazer Car Cover
Same as gary, I used a swb truck cover, mine was made by wolf.
Beware though, most ARE NOT water 'proof', if that's what your looking for, buy a tarp. |

Re: Blazer Car Cover
I was looking at the stormweave, but I will have it on mostly in the garage. But at a show I want one that is waterproof.

Re: Blazer Car Cover
yeah, I need to find one that is waterproof. The tub will be line-x'd, but don't want to replace the leather seats and radio

The problem with an actuall waterproof cover will be that it won't breath and therefore is almost worse. There are water proof/breathable materials out there but could you imagine paying for an all 'Gortex' car cover. |

Re: Blazer Car Cover
I usually carry a tarp around with me as it rain all the damn time in oregon.. If is waier proff you want at a show what about a little pop-up tent. The tent would help keep your blazer from bakeing at the show and keep the rain out of the inside.... Just make sure you use some to attach the pop-up to the ground..

Re: Blazer Car Cover
I have a tarp I take with me to car shows I have it rolled up it works fine if it their not to much wind. If there is to much wind but the tarp over the truck a drive the front tires over the tarp to hold it. I have some tent stakes for the back and sides.

Re: Blazer Car Cover
Doesn't sound like anybody is using a blazer specific cover. Does anyone sell one?
My Jimmy spends winter outside so mama can have the garage bay. I want to have a car cover to put over it and then I will cover it with a tarp for sun/snow protection. Tarps alone really suck as they are very harsh on the paint (although mines only a 20 footer)

Re: Blazer Car Cover
I got mine form a distributor in Chicago-land area- It's a Wolf- Blazer specific- even came with a grommet for the radio antenna if I had wanted to cut the hole- it was easier to take the antenna off.
I also used it when I had the top off, but I don't have any pics of it with the top off, so here's a pic of it with the cover on and top off! The cover is on as the Blazer is going to it's new home. |

Re: Blazer Car Cover
Yes it's at a new home with a new owner. Cost of the cover was in the $220range. Wolf makes them out of a lot of different materials for whatever you want it to do.
Good luck. |
