Cool coils all over the place

Where did you guys put your aftermarket non HEIcoils?
I guess the "normal" place is close to the ignition on the manifold (that's what my chevy boatengine has),but it gets awfully hot there.Wouldn't it be better to mount it to the firewall?

I got my Blaster II mounted on the firewall, behind and to the side of the distributor.
