Thumbs up Raise your bench seat!!!

I just finished raising my bench by a little over an inch. I used some cut construction unistrut. The pieces are about 2 1/2 by 1 3/4 inches. I had to bend the seat brakets a little but the spacers bolted right in. Driving my truck is a lot more comfortable. I feel like I'm seating in a chair. My legs feel more comfortable under the steering column. The tilt steering is also used a notch high and I have a better view of the instrument panel. Don't feel like I'm driving a pinto when I pull up at the drivethru window. If your over 5 10' not 6 7' you could probably benefit from raising the seat. Plenty of room under the seat and the seat can be moved back all the way without hitting the 12' woofer box. Now I'm looking for some sub seats. Hopefully I'll find a nice pair. Thought I'd just pass on my experience.

Will you have any pics available online of the brackets? I would like to see some before and after shots if you have them as well. Thanks
