Door lock relay

Ha anyone replaced this, mine seems to be messed up it only clicks.

Can you run ordinary relays for the door locks?

I may be off base here,but the last time I had pwr lock problems it was the actuator that caused it.When I hit the switch it would make a click sound but nothing happened.I visited the local wrecker and picked one up for $5.

also make sure the connections are tight that is what went wrong with mine
