front end control arms sway bar etc...

Hello all, I have a 77 gmc 1/2 ton 2wd that I have pulled the front end complely apart to paint frame and at the stage to put back together almost. Should I just buy all the bushings and and rubber bumpers to put back in the stock control arms and also the sway bar bushings. Also can't find the rubber bushings that go in the front steering control arms. Any help would be great. thanks...

If you have it all apart right now you should replace everything. The front bushings and cross shafts can be purchased from just about anywhere cross shaft and all.

any auto parts store should have em in stock.. and the easiest way i found to do em is to stick em in the freezer overnight and heat the control arm a tad just prior to installing them they go in alot easier

I recommend Polygraphite or Polyurethane bushings as there are going to last longer.

Also, make sure to replace the ball joints while you have it apart.
