Transmission Question

Calling all tranny experts!

I've got a 700R4 from my 87' IROC which has no overdrive (burnt out clutches) pulled out when the car had had 27k its been sitting in my oldmans garage for 12 years, my question is, can I use it in my 79 2wd blazer which has a T350 right now, after I have the overdrive clutches replaced!

Please let me know!

H.

Re: Transmission Question

Yes it will fit. You will need a few things to make it work. You will need to change or mod your crossmember, driveshaft. You will also need to add provisions for the OD. For complete details take a look here-LINK
