79GMC_OLDS, chances are they'll be ending back on a 87 project they came off of once it sees the road. Plans are to keep it clean and stock looking but with some mild alterations.

Re: Another one added to the fleet

nice score!!! It looks like it is in great shape, and a nice color too. You def. need to hammar it down some. I was bored and chopped a pik, hope you don't mind. I ain't great at choppin but it looks ok. Those are roughly 17" Crawley wheels by Colorado Custom.

Re: Another one added to the fleet

Heres one with some Centerline Sahara wheels, not a great chop, but you get the idea. I think these wheels would be sick on your truck.

Thanks again for the compliments. The colour has been growing on me alot, I think its because there so few with this colour. slugish, that was another boardmember who snaged a truck for $600. Can't wait to get it sitting in the weeds after seeing those photochops......

Re: Another one added to the fleet

Gettining closer to finishing my black interior swap. Still need black carpet or black vinyl floormat. Going to wait until the dollar gets back up to reasonable position for me to buy some parts in the US. Here are the pictures. Found a little surpise under the carpet/seat. Police are going to be contacted tomorrow morning. Funny thing is, I said to myself before I started, I wonder what I'm going to find today. Truck is orginally from US. Got through the border somehow. I'm just glad I haven't had this truck into the states or been pulled over.

looks good! the pistol is a nice little bonus lol reminds me of my buddy who went down south to pick up a 04 cobra he bought and before he barely got rolling the guy came pounding on the window, made him get out of the car so he could grab his gun from under the seat...

That is a pretty sharp truck, kind of funny that you found the gun in there, I mean really how do you forget that?

Re: Another one added to the fleet

I got the truck out from sitting over the winter, cleaned it up a bit. I found a ticking noise coming from the drivers side, figured it was either exhaust or rocker/lifter loose. I checked the oil to find a hint of mosture had gotten into the oil. The moisture could have been from sitting over the winter or from a faulty gasket. There was no burning of coolant, nor was the coolant level down. I've been wanting to drive this truck more in the summer, so i'm in the progress of switching motor from a graspy 11.5 to 1 350 to a stock crate 350. Crate has a few miles on it, but not many. Going to take the chance to check the motor over and get a break on gas money and be able to drive it a little more often.

Nice looking truck man! I'm like you with the color. I kind of like it because you don't see many of them around.

Re: Another one added to the fleet

Well, I got the new motor in. Didn't know if the engine or transmission worked, but everything turned out. Dad had set the timing spot on, and will need almost no adjustment. Engine runs extremely nice and smooth. Just got some fine tuning of the carb and some messing with the kickdown and throttle cables yet. It don't look as pretty or sound as nice but will allow me to daily drive it.
