Re: WTB: stock bench seat 60-66

Sorry were not closer. I have been lugging a nice one from a 63 around to swap meets for about 5 years. I just use it as a lawnchair that has a for sale sign on it. Good luck!

Re: WTB: stock bench seat 60-66

I think I started out asking $75 because it was in pretty good shape. Then dropped to $50, and at the last two swap meets have had it for $35. Not even had any lookers. Think I am going to stop taking it, to be honest. I would assume if you find someone with one a fair price for one in good shape would be $30-50 (complete no popped springs, little to no tears in the vinyl). Its funny because I have no trouble selling seats when I run accross them for older and newer styles, but this one NOTHING!

Re: WTB: stock bench seat 60-66

In this area, that seat wouldn't have lasted, even at $75.00. I have bought/sold them for double that, especially if they were in good, original condition. Good luck. I am sure someone will take it off your hands for $35.00.

Tony, I sure wish you lived closer to me. I've seen pictures of all parts trucks you have.

Re: WTB: stock bench seat 60-66

Sure I can post a pic but it will take a few days (Not good with computers and no internet at home). Also I am pink so I can't sell; so I will have to turn blue before posting pics to sell (if thats why you are asking). I am planning on becoming a paying member anyways. If I turn blue and anyone wants to buy it and pick it up I will give first crack to dj-66 since he asked first and then you (assuming you are interested). Actually I will just post on here that I put it into the 60-66 parts board since this isn't a parts section.

Re: WTB: stock bench seat 60-66

Please go ahead and sell seat to 94tx. He is in your area and sounds like he really needs it. I have five more seats I just picked up. Thanks for putting me first. But if 94tx doesnt need it or anyone else, then I will still get it from you. Thanks.

Re: WTB: stock bench seat 60-66

Thanks Lilred, definately looks like I will get my money's worth. Looks like I just sold my 72 blazer to another member in the for sale area.

Sorry I haven't forgotten about everyone I have just been really busy! I should be able to post a pic of the seat and let everyone know as early as tuesday. It is just difficult because the seat is an hour away at my dads and I dont have internet at home. Sorry for the delay if anyone is still interested. I will sell it to you guys in order of response for $30 if you pick it up. I will post when pics are on for sale page.

Re: WTB: stock bench seat 60-66

Sorry to leave everyone hanging about my seat. Life has been very complicated the last 4 weeks! I will admit I dont have time to make a pic CD and upload pics right now, but if anyone is interested I still have the seat. If anyone is in my area you can come by and see it. The springs and frame look good and the cover is in good enough shape it could be used as is in a driver. If no one is interested I will put in for sale section when life settles down. Once again sorry for not replying when I said I would.

I am still interested in the seat and live near Katy, if you let me know when a good time is, I could come take a look at the seat. Just PM me and let me know. Thanks.
