Squares in the snow.

Well, we just got our first major snowfall here in Santa Fe. I pulled out the camera and snapped some shots of the trucks and other things. This truck came from Las Vegas, Nevada...I'm willing to bet it never had this much snow on it...

Re: Squares in the snow.

I have a nice shot of my 82 in the snow somewhere...

That looks like Santa Fe for sure.. all the "Adobe" houses look so much alike. My wife flipped the first time I took her to Santa fe because of the horizontal street lights. Here they are vertical.
Wish we had that kind of snow here.. instead we got freezing rain and right now it is 24*.. which is atleast better than yesterdays high of 16*.

Re: Squares in the snow.

Freezing rain...sounds scary. We got about 8"-10" of snow here. The sun just peaked out a few minutes ago and it started melting the snow. Tonight's low is supposed to be 18 degrees. I'm sure everything will be iced over tomorrow morning. Should make for a fun commute.

Anymore snowy square pics?

Snow pictures are always cool. Here are a few pics of my square in the snow. The video is the first snow run after the 4:56 gears, rear Detroit locker and front Detroit Trutrac were installed. We are headed up in a few weeks to see how the 8.1L performs in the snow.

Re: Squares in the snow.

Here is my 89 Blazer.

It was kind of stuck there.

Luckily my friend came up with his 3/4 ton and yanked me out. Snow was about 2 feet deep.

I sold the blazer last year, and the people I sold it to messed it up bad, blew the motor, and then abandoned it. I got it back, got another motor, working on getting it cleaned up and back on the road.

I hate to hear stories about nice trucks like your Blazer being abused. Glad you got it back before it was too late.

yeah, he was like 400 lbs, he broke into my shop, and tore it apart in there trying to take the engine out, he couldnt get the bolts out of the back of the engine, so he took a 3/8" drill and knocked a couple of hundred holes in the floor around the front of the tranny tunnel to make a "race car style accsess pannel"

Then he abandoned the whole works still sitting in my garage and hauled ass for oregon. That is probably the only reason he aint pushin up dasies, I was sooo mad.

He also wound up leaving my shop open all night, with over 10 grand worth of tools in there. Talk about a bum deal.
