Did some work on the truck.. Very little
I did a little work today. Not much but something. I can weld it up on Tuesday sometime. Also, saving old bed fronts make for good patch panel steel. Had to make sure my HEI would fit in there also..

Re: Did some work on the truck.. Very little
I have a similar distributor set up on my truck, 65 c10 with a 350. A friend of mine said it looked a little close to the firewall and might cause some problems. How much space is needed between the firewall and distributor to prevent any problems?

They work good if they are not all beat up. This one was beat up on the drivers side but the passenger side was like a baby's bottom.. I have many more patches to cut out of. Nice gauge steel too.

Do you have a heater going back in it?

Re: Did some work on the truck.. Very little
I plan on some kind of vintage air or somthing.
My brothers car is still in the garage. I told him to get his butt over here and I would line things up for him and he could put on the nuts and bolts into the front sheetmetal so he can drive it this spring when the weather starts to get nice again. Whenever that is. Heck I want to drive my truck then also.

Re: Did some work on the truck.. Very little
I got the piece welded up and some bondo on it. It is wavy but then again the firewall is kinda bent there and I am not going to waste to much time on it. It looks ok.
