Re: Pics of Trucks w/a C60 grille
This is one of my favorite things to do to any 60-66. I've put one on many trucks in the past. Here are a few pics of mine and others I have seen. Jack

Re: Pics of Trucks w/a C60 grille
i love this look also but have a question? if u cut the little mesh part out of a c-10 grille, wouldn't u end up with the same thing? c-60 grilles are kinda hard to find.

The other thing is the c60 grills don't have the stamped chevrolet, they are smooth.

Re: Pics of Trucks w/a C60 grille
ooo I forgot about that part.
I saw an nos one on ebay acoupla months ago that didn't sell for $60.00 shipped... they are out there, and not many want them, the key is to rescue them before they go to the scrapper You do need to change out the headlight bucket/mount with one from a c10, the mount is different. |

There is one running around D/FW.
I saw him leaving a car show, last fall. Looked cool!

Quote:
The grill shells are exactly the same except for the cosmetic differences. The mounts attach to the grill shell exactly the same way. By swapping mounts the C60/80 grill mounts as it is supposed to on a C10/20/30 and will be at the right angle to get the headlamps in adjustment. |

Re: Pics of Trucks w/a C60 grille
I have one I pulled off a bus. I'm glad I saw this thread because I didn't know the headlight backing plates were different. Forum member build "Maggie's Custom" has a chrome C60 grille that you can see on post #444.
Here's a sneak peek of Maggie's. Very nice!

Re: Pics of Trucks w/a C60 grille
I always wondered what the mounts look like, if they were different. That chrome one on Maggie's looks really sweet!
