VIN assembly plant code question

The vin on my '64 has the letter "H" for assembly plant but I can't seem to find anything as to where or what plant "H" is. Anyone have any ideas?

Re: VIN assembly plant code question

This site decodes the vin # although I think this is just for cars I do think the H is for Freemont and my reasoning behind it is mine is a 66 SWB and it is a Z and according to the website all 66 models with Z were from Fremont Ca. that year. 64 with H shows Fremont on all models.

Edit:
Here is another site thats probably more helpful. Hope that helps.

Re: VIN assembly plant code question

i don't know right off hand about 64,but 66 fremont trucks had the z code.i have a friend who recently bought a 66(or it is actually a 65)with the z code.i have never saw one like it,but it is a 66 serial numbered truck with the 66 fender emblems, backup lights, seat belts, but it is titled as a 1965 model.i have never saw another goofed up like this anywhere.except for the 66 i used to own which was a custom cab short fleetside paint code 540ad which is turquoise and white.it still had the 66 only dash pocket sticker intact which stated that it was a custom option code z62.but the trim tag on the driver kick panel was blank.why who knows.
