removing 307
when i pull out the engine is there anything that i should replace or at least check and is there anything else that i would have to change if i was putting in a 305 or would everything fit in the same.

Everything will fit the same on your 305, but would fit better on a 350.

im gonna put the 305 in so i can drive the truck and during that time i will build a 350 to go in but i need to have an engine in the truck so i can drive it.

Is the dipstick in the same location on the 305.
Sometimes that makes the exhaust manifold not work.

Straight stick? Do a clutch.
Auto? Do the front seal on the tranny.
