525 is Saddle, the Lucite/Dupont and Ditzler/PPG info is on the right.

Where did you get the trim code number from one of your build sheets ?

Behind or under the bench seat in between foam and springs or when you open the glove box it should be on the inside of the lid.

EDIT: heres a thread that talks about that topic

Re: 1966 code answers

If it is 525 it is saddle poly. Mine was that color originally. It is almost a gold color with some tiny metal flake in it.

Re: 1966 code answers

the guys above are correct on the paint code 525 is saddle which is a metallic color.the dupont code is 4730-L,but i got this dupont code out of the 1966 GM book and it may be obsolete now.also code 525 will be a solid colored truck without the white top.the Z62 trim code is the custom comfort package(with custom cab package included trim code Z61)the custom comfort package included vinyl and nylon seat trimmed with a white accent strip of white vinyl(has heavy duty seat springs also),driver and passenger sunvisors, cigar lighter, dual armrests, and extra under cab undercoating.the custom cab package included bright metal aluminum grille, windshield stainless steel trim, aluminum custom cab plates, bright trim on dash knobs, deluxe steering wheel with horn ring and white painted trim on door panels.hope i have been some help to you.

Just ran out to see what the paint code was on the 'burb. Ah, just a 521. I was hoping it would be some cool color combo....Thanx for posting that list, Barebones.

No problem man...

Hey guys if you get the chance all the information im getting for this thread and others like it is out of this parts catalog book that came with my truck. VERY useful information in here. If you ever find one buy it, you won't regret it. This things is very interesting, I can't open it up without learning something new everytime.

My wife put mine in a three ring binder for me and printed out "66 Chevy" down the side of it. I dig the way she's supporting me in this.
