Wheel Question

I need to find some wheels just to move my 51 out from the woods. I've got the originals and I got two of them to actually hold air. The other two simply can't do it.

What are my options. I just want something to turn my project into a roller. I'm looking for the easy/cheap way to get this thing moving.

If it is a half ton just about any of the pre 1988 six hole chev wheels should work as rollers.
Steel wheels with skinny tires will probably be the easiest to move it around on though. And yep the wheels or spare wheels off the K5 will work too.

If it is 8 lug just about the same thing goes.

Import 6 lug (toyota, nissan,) will also work. I used my stock 2007 tacoma wheels to move my 53 about 3 miles before the s10 swap.

Thanks for the answers. That is exactly what I was looking for. I think the blazer tires may be a little too large unfortunatly. I'd hate to put a bend in the front fenders.

If those are tube type tires you may be able to air them up with an air tank or 12V compressor. At least for long enough to get it out of the field and on a trailer. I've aired up tires with tubes that have been sitting for years and had them hold air, at least for as long as it takes to get the vehicle moved.

I got the rears to hold air, but the fronts I think were too far gone. I'm just going to find a couple of wheels and tires I can use to move it around a little.

Why not take the two wheels off that won't hold air, throw some jack stands under it and pick up a couple free tires at a wrecking yard or maybe even your local tire store would give you a couple used tires then bolt em back up and you'll be good to go. Cheaper than buying wheels and tires just to roll it around.

I've tried that at a few places, but noone has any used tires that are narrow enough to fit on the rim. That is how easy I thought it would be, but doesn't seem to be the case.
