front shocks

hey guys. i see there are several discussions about shocks but i have a question. do you need to relocate the upper shock mount on an 86 c10 with bags and tubular control arms. if yes did anyone make there own or just buy them, and if not what shock do i need. collapsed height is 8.5 extended height is 13.5 center to center loop top and bottom, so need 5 inches of travel. thanks for any help you can give me.

Re: front shocks

Did the arms come with shock mounting provisions? In most cases the stock front mounts work fine, but I don't have a lot of experience with aftermarket arms.
