Alternative bed roll lights

I've really been thinking about installing bed roll lights on my truck but didn't want to fork over $110 for them. I came across these. They are rear mounted lights I removed from a discarded power mobility scooter at work. I had been looking at them for awhile thinking that they might work and finally measured them today and found that they were dead on. This is what they look like during a trial fitting. There's a mounting tab that with a little modification will fit securely in the bed roll but I'll probablly drill a small hole underneath for added security. The best part is that they were free!! I'll work on it this weekend and let you know how it turns out.

That will look really nice and price is right. I's see if I could score some extra lenses or another set in case they get dinged in the future.

I'd check your local nursing home. Find out where they park their scooters...LOL If you can't steal them, you might see if they'd trade for some crochet gear or adult diapers. Sorry man, I couldn't help myself.

Re: Alternative bed roll lights

Got them mounted today. Wire them to the brake lights.
