Question 68 gmc control arms ?? help

Hey i have a 68 gmc c10 bought new tubular control arms from brothers trucks and as i was assembling them i relized my shock doesnt aligng with the new bolt stud that comes off the lower arm the bolt is angled to my much for the shock to slid on so what i need is upper shock relocating brackets has anybody ran this problem i am thinkin of just moving the upper shock to the next hole beside it in my frame so things will align let me know what u guys think thanks codie.......
