aluminum radiator for a '54

I need a alum radiator with trans cooler for a '54 Chevy. Any experience with a Be-cool or a Griffin. Is there another brand I don't know about. Thanks

We got ours from PRC. It was custom built for our application. There was a thread a couple of days ago that someone had bought one off E-Bay and had a link to it. Take a look back a couple of days.

I have a Be-cool in my Jeep, a direct fit replacement....
I had to change a lot and weld on the radiator because it
had a leak ....
For my pickup I bought a radiator fan combo from universal parts.
It came with shroud and two 11" fans and looks great.

Yes I installed mine last year and it ran great. I have a newer 350 that runs about 280HP. It is a bit thicker than the original and being aluminum it cools very well, even with my shroudless fan. At idle, when the temperature hits 195, the fan kicks in and it drops down to 180 in about 1 minutes. On the road the temperature never gets to 190. The problem I have now is that no one could give me a definite size for my overflow bottle and mine is too small. When it cools down the water contracts so much it sucks the overflow bottle dry....I guess I need a bigger one. The welds are not good enough for a show vehicle but for an aluminum radiator with a trans. oil cooler it was a good deal. In the picture you'll notice that I had a buddy move the top filler neck to the drivers side.
