62 c 10 disk brakes conversion.

i have a 62 c 10 with all drum brakes and want to convert to disk Does anyone know of any donor cars or trucks that i can use
Will a 89 camaro work

Welcome. There are numerous threads on here about converting your truck to disc brakes. There are a number of different kits you can buy to do it, or one of the most comon is taking a front cross member out of a chevy/gmc with discs and swapping it right in. Just do a search for disc brakes and it will bring up a ton of info.

hey. i have the same problem. im starting to research it and havent really found much yet. ill let you know. mine is a work in progress but the rear end is bagged.

A quick answer is, you can buy all new from our various Forum Vendors, or find a donor truck from 70 up to 87 and everything you need to convert will be at your fingertips.

Guys, I am working on a FAQ for this topic, but my schedule hasn't permitted me to finish it.

There are several threads here and in the 67-72 forums regarding this conversion. Try the search feature, and spend some time reading to get a ton of info.
