What Mirrors to Replace The Dumbo's on my Crew Stepper?
Don't really want to put the Dumbo's back on my Crew Project, What are you Guy's Running as Replacements? Not at all interested in Peep style, Would still like something with Good Visibility..........
Thanks, Rick

yeah, MAYBE a small car. but not a 20 foot truck.
but my 2 cents would be the stock chrome mirrors that Bradley posted. or the "sport" mirrors but I would think you would start getting into the visibility problem

Re: What Mirrors to Replace The Dumbo's on my Crew Stepper?
yes I have it also didn't have a rear view mirror driving down the road wasn't to bad just trying back it up in a drive way about backed over a mail box, almost hit a parked car, and then the back of the bed kissed the house

Re: What Mirrors to Replace The Dumbo's on my Crew Stepper?
I still haven't hung the rear view mirror back on my truck, as it is directly in my line of sight when driving (6' 8" is a bit of a pain at times.). I just tonight got around to tightening the side mirrors up so they stay in place when the doors are closed.
I would say the stainless sports (80's) as well. |

I tried those little clamp on hotrod mirrors and those are pretty hard to see with, unless you stick on a panoramic mirror on top. |

How about 90/91 Suburban/Blazer power mirrors?

Re: What Mirrors to Replace The Dumbo's on my Crew Stepper?
I'm still debating on what to do for my mirrors too, I think I'll end up running dumbo mirrors. I think your's would look cleaner with the sport mirrors though

Or find a pair of old Rambler mirrors like these.

Re: What Mirrors to Replace The Dumbo's on my Crew Stepper?
That gets my vote too. They aren't that "sporty" looking, but don't look bad on a crewcab or Burb. Painted to match they would blend in rather than stand out.
I love sport mirrors, but they would not be my choice for a CC.

I agree with the power mirrors, they look good, and you can paint them to match.

Re: What Mirrors to Replace The Dumbo's on my Crew Stepper?
Those motorcycle mirrors are even more useless than the standard peep mirror. I vote sport mirrors or the power style ones.
