Front suspension set up
I have a 63 longbed fleetside. its been lowered at the front with 2" drop spindles and lowering coils, it has power steering, The trouble is the front wheels tip out at the top only very slightly when pointing straight, but when i turn a corner its much worse so it screaches like a pig on the tarmac when turning, ??

Re: Front susoension set up
Have you had the truck aligned? It sounds like they don't have something quite right up front. Take the truck by a reputable alignment shop and see if that will resolve the problem.
Just to ask... I'm guessing the front end looked correct before you installed the new spindles and springs?

Re: Front susoension set up
Agreed. Sounds like there's not enough camber which will cause a 'pushing' sensation w/the steering.

Re: Front suspension set up
They should check the caster/camber when you get it aligned

Re: Front suspension set up
I recommend a 4 wheel alignment. Any change of camber will effect the toe dramatically. A 4 wheel alignment means the front & rear will be aligned to the center line of the truck, and all 4 corners will be square. It's the most accurate alignment, but the equipment is as good as the tech using it.
