1950 gmc 250 ?
I was given this GMC by a elderly gentlemen in Eastern Oregon, no rust It is a 1 owner vehicle and untouched except for a couple of minor dents and dings. My question is what is it. I thought a 250 was a 3/4 ton vehicle? this thing looks a lot more heavy duty than that I plan on replacing the original flatbed with an aluminum one.Any help with info on replacing the 700x18 spiltrims with modern tires would be great.......Thanks

Re: 1950 gmc 250 ?
For GMC 100 = 1/2 ton, 150 = 3/4 ton
I'm guessing the pattern continues. 200 = 1 ton, 250 = 2 ton??? |

Re: 1950 gmc 250 ?
I'm not sure if anyone makes non=split rims that fit that bolt pattern.
Probably the best place to start checking is the Les Schwab in LeGrande They have some good people there from my past experiences stopping there. If there is a source for wheels that fit they should know or be able to find it. Stockton wheel might have something though. |

If it's a 1 ton wouldn't it be 8 on 6.5" bolt pattern? My 49 Chevy 1 ton is.
