Yep, sounds right with the motor off. You just have a couple of blown headlights.

walmart is the best. $12.25 out the door with 2 lights.
got it in worked great .going to adjust them when i drive a night

just for giggles run two long jumper wires right frm the battery and touch the two prongs. one neg and one pos. it does not care which is which when you are testing just to see if the y are good . the connectors CAN and will get fussy about the contact they are making even if when you stick meter probes inside of it -it shows voltage.

when i was in high school we used to flip them so the lows were on bottom and high on top. make truck look lower at night. i think the cans are a little bit different, though. looks cool
