Need help pls

Just bought a set of magaughys drop shocks for my 66 c-10
when installed they apear to be to long they said these would be ok for my truck .my truck has about a 4" rear drop the shocks are mounted straight up and down any ideas what i did wrong?

Try using shock relocater brackets. When you lower your truck, you change the angle of the shock. They can be bought at CPP. Although, if you look them up on ebay, they sell them for less if you buy them online.
