I like the new wheels on it. I'm not much on the pro street look personally, but it looks awesome.

Re: Look what I saw at the track

Why would anyone want to lower a truck anyway?

J/K couldn't resist.

I like em all though, I like at least some of all trucks, whether lowered, raised or stock. then again there are trucks in all those catagories that look like crap too. I used to want my 77 lowered but never got to it, kept my 87 stock and lifted my 78 some.

Besides who wants to haul it down the dragstrip in something with enough air underneath it to get lift-off

The grill bars aren't bent. That's just an illusion from the crooked headlight. j/k

Re: Look what I saw at the track

Those bars get bent really easy. You would be amazed at how many I see in mags that are worse than that. It's one of my pet peeves.

Regardless of his bent bars, it is a really nice truck.

Oh, I totally agree that truck is nice. I was not trying to take anything away from it. I just noticed it when reading the post about too many square lights on the front.

I thought the truck was cool when I saw it with the old convo pros on it. The truck is now outstanding with the new look.

Its a nice driven truck its not a show only truck which means tiny things can be wrong and still look good.If it was mine i would change small things on it.

Re: Look what I saw at the track

This is a really nice truck, no doubt. But it my opinion the front of the truck has way to much bling going on. It does not match the simple and subtle looking shaved rear and sides at all. If you got rid of that bent up tube grill and put a color matched OEM grill on it, and put a simple roll pan in place of the front bumper, it would be darn near perfect.

Re: Look what I saw at the track

While it's a great looking truck and I would never turn it down if given to me, I wander why someone would put so much time and money in it and not put a A/C in it! I though I saw he was from TX, you'd think he would know better. If he was a yankie I'd understand.
