Guage help
I have a Autometer Pro Comp mechanical oil pressure guage. The truck has been apart for a few years and am now almost ready to fire the new engine. When I went to check everything the guage showed 25lbs,that was before it was hooked up,so it must have been like that since the other engine was in.When I primed the BB the guage moved to show pressure, but when I stopped priming it returned to 25 lbs.Is there a way to zero the guage,or is it time for a new one, Thanks Brian

Re: Guage help
That would make sense Marv, but its never been out of the dash and it worked fine before. It must have been stuck at 25 when I took the small block out.

Re: Guage help
I took the gauge out and it returned to zero, put it back in same problem. Then I pulled out the light and it went back to zero,I guess the bulb must have been contacting inside the guage, smaller bulb problem fixed.Hope this helps someone else,I almost feel stupid lool, thanks for all the help
