Be careful. Once you succomb to the power of a Blazer, it's all downhill from there.

Re: another cl ad.. why cant i get this outta my head
yellow(primer?) + ugly wheels + ???interior + $9500=
Couldn't resist. I'm in favor of an early squarebody blazer, but get this one out of your head. For $9500 you could do alot better than a straight bodied, static dropped, sbc, with ugly 22"s.

Re: another cl ad.. why cant i get this outta my head
the look on that dogs face is probably the same look you had after you clicked on it! i could just picture it
i just liked the full convert top... and i could easily pic it looking like your 82 or trav's blaze.

Re: another cl ad.. why cant i get this outta my head
I hope you don't picture it all smashed up like mine. That's the look I had on my face when I walked around to the front of mine after that hyundai got done with it.

Its an 87. Brown with tan interior. It has been sitting quite a while and does not run. PO thought the engine was seized. I put a good battery in it yesterday and it dosent even attempt to turn over, no starter click or anything. My money is on a wiring issue, its TBI and I can hear the pump running so I'm thinking its a fuse or wiring at the starter has been damaged by rodents. I spent two hours wasing it yesterday, it was really nasty and covered in mold I guess. After I get it running I'll have to look at the tailgate, one side wont unlatch and the window is not attached to the regulator. It also needs a turn signal switch. I turned on the lights and only one headlight comes on, no park or brake lights either. But it has a solid body and with the 82 2wd frame I have after I get it going I plan on converting it over to 2wd and maybe making part of my money back from the 4wd stuff. I'll be putting up a build thread soon, I havent had much time to look it over yet.

Re: another cl ad.. why cant i get this outta my head
Dennis, I can sell you mine for alot less even after you swap it to a 2wd, if thats what your looking for. I love my blazer. Plenty of room. About the only thing I would change is to later seats. I have to sell mine but I`ll get another soon.

Re: another cl ad.. why cant i get this outta my head
Yeah I`m going to have haz mat, tanker and doubles. My buddy might be able to get me on with his company but most likley I`ll be doing OTL for 6months to a year before I can get something local. Not sure where we are moving to yet but staying in the area. We were taking care of my wifes grandmother but she passed in march and the house just sold so it`s time to move on.
