eek! I lost my center link! Do you have an extra?

uh oh.. sometime between dis-assembly two months ago and now I've managed to lose my steering center link. I can't find it any place.. ugh!! Don't you hate that?

Does anyone have an extra they'd be willing to part with? (I'll pay of course) It's for a 66 C10 2WD.

Or does any one know where to buy a new one? None of my parts books have one listed and I dont see one on eBay either.

Thanks for your help!

I'm sure I have a few sitting around. I'm assuming this is for manual steering?

Hi,

I found this pic in another thread here.. All I need is the long center bar that connects the two inner tie rods together.

Yes, this is was originally for manual steering, but I am upgrading to power. I think the same bar is used.

Thanks everyone for the reply's, hit me up w/ a PM and shipping costs to 95747, or if your local where/when we can meet

If you're upgrading to power steering, why not upgrade the steering linkage to the '73-'87 as well? That way tou won't need to get those tierod adapters. That is assuming you've upgraded to discs up front also.

Re: eek! I lost my center link! Do you have an extra?

I'm not sure if there is a particular thread with info on just the steering linkage swap, but I'll look and see if I can find something. It is really pretty straight forward. The only thing with upgrading to the '71-'87 steering linkage is you will need to drill new holes for the idler arm......not difficult at all. The rest of the llinkage just bolts up assuming you've converted to disc brakes and the power steering box. Have you done that yet?
