I've been looking for a very long time for one of these trucks and I finally got my hands on one. All I wanted was a 73-87 truck with the following requirnments: working 4x4, automatic transmission, running condition, semi-decent in the rot department, and with an 8" bed.

I got my truck yesterday for $1,000 (and to be honest, I could have probably negotiated on the price which I literally forget to do). I plan to, over time, restore it and create a badass off road/daily driver (this'll be my only vehicle), in my eyes.

I took some pictures of it yesterday as I was cleaning out some of the previous owners junk and whatnot.

I have big plans for this truck. Starting with a gloss black, flat black, or flat charcoal paint job and maybe a 8" lift. Or a 6" lift with a 3" body lift. I'll keep this thread updated, of course.

Oh, also:
The title says it is a Chevrolet K10. The previous owner sold it to me as a GMC C10. The dash panel (which I'm fairly certain is not original) says GMC Sierra. The logo on the passenger fender says GMC 2500. The driver side one is missing. The grille says GMC and the tailgate says Chevrolet. It has a 5.7L 350 V8 in it from a Camero (that he supposedly put in in 1990 from a totalled Camero with low miles). Is this a Chevy or GMC?!

How long has it been in the northeast? It looks to be very solid. Looks like an easy $1,000 truck even out here in the dry land.
