81 C10 grille on an 87 C10?

I love the grill style on the 81..

I have an 87 and don't like the grille so much. It's got a crack, so I was going to fix it and paint it.

Not my truck, but a sample of the grille.

I found this site that says really cheap replacement grilles, but they seem to only carry the 81.

It looks like it should fit my 87.. will it?

Thanks for any help or info.

yes it will work but you'll need something to hold the parking lights in place and you'll also need the 81-82 headlight bezels

Yes it will work, you will also need the lower metal valence piece. The way the grille and bezels attach are different. I just did the exact opposite swap (81 to 87)and have the left overs.

I'm the opposite, too - I don't like the '81 so much and prefer the '87.
