rack & pinion fgor s-10 or subframed camaro

I am trying to find out if anyone has removed the stock steering box on a camao subframed frontend and used a rack and pinion setup instead? Same with a s-10 conversion? Looking for advise and pictures. Also trying to possibly do a right-handed rack and pinion for a 59 apache.

Re: rack & pinion fgor s-10 or subframed camaro

In my research of the Camaro clip option it seems there isn't really much to be gained from a R&P on the 2nd Gen Camaro clip since there are such good 600/670 steering boxes out there. Here's a sample thread on the topic from pro-toruing.com that sums up what I've been reading. Basically it seems there's no performance advantage just cool factor. of course that could be exactly what you're looking for.... =)
