My new blazer....
Hey everyone.. you have hit me up for photos of my ride and I still don't have any yet.. BUT I did find a page where the previous owner was posting it for sale.. here is the link..
http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=804674 It is a really solid truck, with a few problems that I am working on.. even though at times it feels like I am chipping away at a huge boulder... lol.. I had to replace the master cylinder on the first day, as the brakes went to the floor... I had to move the tires around because there was one new one and one old one on the back axle and the Detroit locker was having a fit...I have added a 140 amp alternator that keeps the volts up well @ idle and found a top for it in Kentucky !! The owner of the top met me in St Louis with the top last weekend and this week I sanded it down to get the dead paint off and sealed the roof then painted it flat black to get me through the winter... I have not repaired the hatch yet.. but the good news is that its all there with no missing pieces or cracked glass AND IT FITS OVER THE ROOL BAR !!!... what a challenge it was to find a top in my area... when people would figure out I needed one for winter the law of supply and demand quickly tilted the $$$ !! lol It does drive great and really has tire burning power to spare.. it is not really on my good side yet as I have had to work on it too much.. but as time goes by that feeling is gonna change I am sure... ;-) When I started the truck for the first time, right when it came off the transport, the radio came on blaring "Running with the Devil" - - - I hope this truck isn't Satan's spawn.. <joke> Cant wait to get the top bolted on, the hatch on and some exhaust... its a little too quiet for my taste.. oh and i gotta work on the throttle linkage.. it is set up wrong, causing an over center/all or nothing feel right off idle.. but when snow hits.. It will be a ball !! Thank you to all of you that have helped me with replies to my questions and also to those of you that posted something that I searched out on got an answer from... More to come ! Whammybar66 |

I've seen pics of that before. Very nice rig and I think he was asking a very reasonable price. If you got it cheaper than that you got a good deal!

Congrats. Looks like someone put a lot of time and work into that rig. Does it have a doubler t-case or just twin sticks? Nice looking seats too.
