New guy from the '60-'66 side...

I traded my more door bel air for this today (wheels are now gold)...

Plans are for a dropped axle and very low, caddy sombrero caps, wierd engine, kick ass interior, paint, and bias ply tires. I'll add more pics later, just a little busy today.

Re: New guy from the '60-'66 side...

I got the inside all cleaned up today. I "sort of" fixed the glove box, it wouldn't close. There was a hose clamp holding the latch in place, lol. I've got another good latch assembly in my parts stash I'll swap in. I also replaced the bad brake pedal cover with a new one that came with the truck. Baby steps, lol.

Immediate plans are to buy a back up set of all ignition components and fan belt to carry around for "just in case". Also, a carb rebuild. If you let it sit for a few days, it's hard to start unless you pour gas in the little tube in the carb. Also, a new set of battery cables is in order. The current ones are way beyond loose making starting iffy.

All in all, it's still a good driver with a couple of minor issues that are easily fixed. Once I work these out and anything else that comes up, I'll start digging in to the major mods (lowering and interior).
