LT1 Transmission Crossmember
Which ones do I need to cut out?
1963 C-10 Blown(up) Straight Six with 4 speed. Swapping LT1 in. DO I need to cut out the old bellhousing trans crossmember and the parking brake crossmember or just the front one or what? Thanks, - Brian |

Re: LT1 Transmission Crossmember
For a transmission crossmember you can use an original one out of a truck up thru '87. The '73-'87's are the most common.
I happen to have an auto trans crossmember from a '63-'65 that has the e-brake brackets on it. Let me know if you're interested.
