You are starting out way ahead of the curve. Very nice truck! Isn't that a GMC??

Re: 54 chevy/s-10 build
Looks like a nice solid truck. I see the little turbo-lister icons in the corner of the pics, so I assume it's a eBay find.
So, give us some details.

Re: 54 chevy/s-10 build
You've got to get the '54 GMC grill surround. That is the coolest part of those trucks. I love the "mustache" look to the marker lights the older ones do not have!
Good looking start. |

Re: 54 chevy/s-10 build
Interestingly enough, I started with a pair of GMC's and a single Chevy... the parts are mostly interchangeable from the cab back. Though you may register it as a Chevy, everyone will think it's a GMC with that hood and grill... lol
I went the other way with mine, kept all the good GMC parts and went with a Chevy hood and grill. No matter, make it what you want... and I'm not totally positive, but I believe the front fenders are GMC as well... don't think Chev's had the signal lights under the headlights. Would also think all of the rad support and hood latch assembly is GMC as well or you would never get it to latch properly. Either way... off to a great start, good luck and keep us posted! Cheers, Ted.

Chevy49, So are those the pics of your truck on the 1st post? If so would you be willing to sell those GMC parts?
