That metalflake is killer. Looking forward to seeing it with the new wheel. The whole effect is wild.

bought and installed a air filter for my I6. Added another gallon of gas to the tank and started her up and let her run for 5 minutes. Was going to mount my tranny cooler with new lines but it is raining today

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

OLERD66 will be back on the road againg soon. We are finishing her up to make room for a '66 Chevy K20 project we are starting. We have a list of approximately 30 items, that need to be done, to complete the project.

The grille support and front fenders noses will have the black background and white ring painted on them, before final assembly.

Good for you taking the extra time. It just doesn't look original or restored without the black background and white ring.

Sorry I haven't been on in a couple of days- deer hunting. I attached them through the holes for the rallies from the back side. I still have to do my rear ones- so I will get some pics. The holes were large enough to use an impact on the original lug nuts which I like.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

Not a darn thing the high today was 15* I went out to the garage for a little while. I tried to do some things, first my ears froze them my hands then I made a fast retreat to the house for some hot spiced cider. Sure wish the garage was insulated with a stove maybe next year lol. What the heck happened to Globle Warming anyway it is suppose to get down to 0* tonight, put another log on the fire and grab a jug of JD's Brrrrrrr....Vernski

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?

You sure that's a factory tach?
Looks sweet either way! I really like the clock.

I have a set of those gauges. Some day I'll luck into a clock...probably from a Nova, and I might install it then. Without those two holes filled they look kinda bare.
