Head light door paint
On the 73-78 headlight doors. What different paint colors ie argent/black? The outside ring ? Just curious ive seem them all different ways.

I like the inside ring closest to the headlight black, and then the black ring around that which is sunken in painted black too. That is the factory style I "believe" for 73-74, and IMO looks the best.
If you are looking for what color black, I didn't know there were different levels of it.

Hi KQQL IT,
I'm not 100% certain, but I think the paint schemes over the years went something like: 73-74 = black in next to the headlight & black in the outer recessed groove. 75-76 = argent silver in next to the headlight & unpainted (chrome) in the outer groove 77-78 = dark argent (grey) in next to the headlight & unpainted (chrome) in the outer groove |
