Door hinge mount to Cab repair

Is it possible to replace the entire jamb where the door hinges mount to the cab? The ones on my 77' have some serious rust issues. I was thinking about cutting the whole area out of another cab and welding it in.

I don't think anyone makes that part, but you could cut it out of a old truck and put it in yours.

Anyone?

Re: Door hinge mount to Cab repair

Thanks Travis. I figured it was possible. My wife just figured out my intentions with the Blazer yesterday and seemed alright with it. She said I had to finish one project before I started another...........NICE!!!!!!!!!! My dad and I are going to look at a 70' Camaro in a couple of weeks as a possible father/son project. May have to keep it at his house it it goes through
