Front Upper Bag mounts too narrow?

I have been working on a custom built mustang ii style front suspension and am at the point where i am welding on my front upper bag mounts. My concern is that i cut the bag mounts too narrow to support the weight of the vehicle ont he mounts. What do you guys think?

Re: Front Upper Bag mounts too narrow?

It does look pretty narrow. There is not a lot of metal left after the holes were put in it. Can you add some material to the sides? Maybe gusset the upper sides to the frame rail.
