Re: Fab 9

I'm sure someone already asked this: Do you do anything with the trailing arms? Plate them or weld them down the seams?

My small block makes just over 650hp, no spray, blower or turbo. I have a turbo 350 trans w/brake and a 4200 rpm converter. Is there any danger in running these arms stock? Are there weak points I'm not aware of??? Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Mine have a small plate on the top and bottom and the seams are welded. My old combo made 900hp plus with nitrous. Tom Duraham that had the truck before me had more power. I am adding 80 cubic inches and more spray when I get it back together.

Re: Fab 9

I don't have any pics. but its just a small plate about 1x6 welded on top of the trailing arms at the front and the top and bottom seams welded the full length of the arms.
