Re: Peep mirrors

Just installed a pair of peep mirrors/pig spotters hehehe on my 77 C10. They pretty much look as good on a squarebody as on a 67-72 but alltogether worthless. Most people install them for looks only. I purchased the bent elbows rather then the straight peep mirrors and I can barely see out of my driver mirror the passenger side is worthless. I tried installing them on numerous positions on the door, adjusting them any way possible and no go. My opinion if you really want to go with the peep mirrors go with the straight bracket rather then bent just my .02.

Yessir that's all they are good for hehe...I do have some pics I'll post them up a bit later. You can google chevy c10 and look under images you'll find a ton of square bodies with pig spotters mounted in all different locations.

Re: Peep mirrors

They look cool, but a waste of money. I had a set long enough to determine they were dangerous.

Sorry, can't help you with pics.

Re: Peep mirrors

I have the stock mirrors on my '76. Don't know if they qualify. Still can't figure out why the factory would put such small mirrors on a stock truck. It's the things that make ya go HUH!

Re: Peep mirrors

I agree they are pretty much worthless trying to use them to actually see out of, but like mentioned before most people including me just by them for looks and "law dogs" but I only bought 1 for $10 at a car show afew weeks back and it looks pretty good. I just mounted it towards the top where people normally put them and sorry no pics but id say go for it cause it looks pretty sick, gives it a different older look.
