S-10/1951 AD Steering Column

I'm completely new to builds. I have a '97 s-10 frame for my '51 and I need a steering column. I've been looking at Flaming River and Ididit steering columns. Any other suggestions?

I am using the stock column. I cut it shorter and made up some steering linkage. Do a search, you should come up with some good info. Welcome to the board.

Re: S-10/1951 AD Steering Column

It depends on what look your going for. You can leave the stock one and buy a bearing kit for it to make it a column that will work with the S10 box or get a junk yard van column. most any GM up to 72 would work. If your looking for chrome do a google for chrome tilt column and several come up.
