Air Conditioning question
Would taking off the AC pump help with gas mileage and power or am i better leaving it on?

Re: Air Conditioning question
It should be free spinning if the A/C isnt on. so it shouldnt hurt anything.

Re: Air Conditioning question
I never noticed any difference with the belt on or off it. Plus with the belt on it you'll have more pulling power on the PS pump (extra belt). Only real savings would be in carrying around the weight of it, but it's not much.
On the freeway I get better mileage with the windows up and the AC running than with it off and the windows down. |
