installing front bags

I'm also all new to the air ride suspension i have purchased a 84 chevy to switch front crossmember and 5 lug set up to my 66.. i purchased from ***************** a 63-87 Chevy C10 Front Bag & Bracket Kit... i dont understand the cup on it i figured that the bag would just sit in the lower control arm... does anyone have detailed instructions to install air bags for us new guys and pictures thanks..

The cup gets bolted to the bottom of the bad and just sitts in the lca spring pocket.

Thats correct. The pocket in the lower a-arm is not big enough for the bag not to rub if just set in the lower arm. Bolt the cup to the bottom of the bag so that the bag is raised up out of the spring pocket in the lower arm.

I will see if I can find a picture.

Look at post #44 in this thread. It shows the cup sitting in the lower arm.

Also in the same thread, post #96 photo's 4 & 5 show the bag assy with the brackets and plates from suicide doors.
